The Outer Banks Bell® by North Country Wind Bells® is named for the barrier islands that separate the Atlantic Ocean from the mainland. These islands provide protection from the ocean's treacherous fury in which this area is widely known to have during hurricane season. Yet the Outer Banks is known for its surfcast fishing, beachcombing and beautiful sunrises. The locals and visitors rely on the bell buoys to safeguard their way through the inlets and shoals. This wind bell has three unique tranquil tones that richly blend together as the hammer strikes each panel of the bell that is reminiscent of the reassuring sound of the buoys that lead the way to safe docking. Proudly made in the USA, the Outer Banks Bell® is handcrafted from 60% recycled steel and is powered-coated to provide durablity and many years of enjoyment.
